Hi all,
I would like to automate a strategy where if price of the ETF that I chart crosses above the next higher strike level to send a option spread order to buyback my sold option contract and sell another one at the higher level.
My broker is IB.
I could eventually create (with string manipulations) the text of the order starting from the ETF symbol and the strike recently reached, with expiration and C or P as inputs.
What would be the way to send this rollover spread order to IB ?
(and of course, with a limit at midway between bid and ask for this spread)
Thanks for any input,
Florian

Hello, florianp3!
Your trading series is always the main data series (Data1). If you want to create a strategy that will trade several interdependent instruments, then you can do that in Portfolio Trader or on charts by means of Global Variables.
