Hi All
I'll be submitting this to Project Management, but thought others might like the idea too and want to support it.
It's a simply change to MC but will make a big difference to the charts of those who use a fair number of trendlines.
It's the ability to colour the extension of the tline differently from the tline itself. It has two benefits.
1. You can clearly see the difference between a) actual tline and b) it's extension / suggested usefulness in future.
2. You can colour the extension (which is usually seen as less important) in a "knocked back" colour, thus making your chart much less busy and stops the extensions (which can be a useful reference), being very bold and given as much import as the tline itself.
Hopefully others will see the benefit too.

Can you post a mockup (with notes) to illustrate your vision?
Re: Idea for Trendlines
Here's a chart showing how it looks. You draw the trendline, in this case the green line. If you choose to apply the extension to the trendline, then you can choose the colour, choosing a much duller colour is REALLY helpful in keeping charts clean and showing you what;s important. See the second screenshot. Hope this helps.
