Keystrokes used to jump to select workspace  [SOLVED]

Postby bowlesj3 » 18 Jun 2018

I just solved it myself.

ANSWER:
I opened two workspaces. I set the current workspaces being viewed to the first workspace. I then opened the 2nd workspace again using the menu sequence keys (Alt+F, O, KeyInTheFileName, Enter). Instead of opening a 2nd copy of the 2nd workspace which is already open it simply set the focus to this currently open workspace. This solves the problem. Now MC is the best once again :-)

ORIGINAL QUESTION:
I suspect there is no way to do this but I will ask anyway.

Is there any method by keystrokes to go directly to a work space if you have a few open? It would be preferable to jump directly to the one I want rather than step through them to get to the 5th one for example.

If not I may create a feature request:
One method would be to have a keystroke available menu of work spaces with each being numbered much like the window menu for the charts. Even better would be to be able to enter the work space name directly into that menu and then jump to it. Being able to key in the exact work space name is better since work spaces may be removed during the day and this would not be in issue if entering the name.

Thanks,
John
