What is your time zone?

What is your exchange's time zone?

If the time zones are different,
Do you want to chart according to local time? or exchange time?

Hi,

my GMT is +1 (Rome, Berlin, Frankfurt), here the market open Sunday at 23.00 and close Friday at 23.00

MC read well my local time, the problem is on the chart bars, it seems they act in GMT+2. I don't know if it is a broker setting (OANDA) or something like daylight savings time, or other

Hi,
I call my broker OANDA and they told me I'm working on GMT+3, so the problem is the data that come from OANDA.
I asked if they can change my GMT setting but they told me no.... :-(

Hello, Umb,

If you’d like the chart to display your local time please set up Time Zone = Local in Format Instrument -> Settings. More information is here:

Hi Svetlana,

I have done it yet (Local in format instrument) but nothing change, MC platform read well my local time (like the arrows to the right on the previous image), but my charts works 1 hour forward. Now i'm using a LMAX account and there is the same situation

Umb,

Data Window/Chart Hint window displays the bar closing time. For the real-time bar it displays the time of future bar closing. As the resolution is 1 hour, the bars are displayed with one-hour interval.
The previous image shows the following:
The circled bar has been already closed at 22:00. The computer time is 22:20.
Time = 22:59 for the real-time bar – it is the time when the bar will be closed, not the current time.
The behavior is expected.

If you still have any difficulties please provide us more details by e-mail support@multicharts.com

Hi, now understand,

in all my preavious platform the data window/chart showed me the opening time of the bar, not the closing time. Is it possible to change this setting? I really want to see the opening time on my charts

Hello, Umb,

Unfortunately, there is no setting to change it in MultiCharts.
