Order rejected TWS API connection broken

Hello everyone,

I sometimes get the following error from Order and Position Trackers Windows

"Order rejected: Multicharts generate the order but was not able to send it because TWS API returned that the connection was broken".

Question: since by looking at File/Broker profiles, Interactive Brokers appears connected and data feed on charts is presente, is there anyway to realzie the API connection is broken BEFORE Multicharts tries to send an order?

same problem for me.

If I close and reopen the platform, the problem is solved (but only temporarily)

This is something we have improved in MultiCharts 12 Release 2:
Interactive Brokers: solved false error “MultiCharts generated the order, but was not able to send it because TWS API returned that the connection was broken” that may appear while the connection was ok.

Hello Henry, thanks.
However I'm talking about a situation where everything seems fine, datafeed is present and MC is connected to the TWS but whenever an order is sent, the error message appears and the order is NOT actually sent to the TWS (or does not reach TWS)

Leo, that's the exact issue we have resolved in MultiCharts 12 Release 2.
