Accumulating Stoplosses

Postby sternbergleonel » 05 Nov 2018

A while back I put up a question about multiple stoplosses being called for an order. Now I have a different problem with stoplosses. Every time I put in an order (see example of attachement 1) a stoploss is called, but it fails to be canceled (some of them I cancelled manually). When I look at the order history it seems that the message is sent to OANDA to cancel it (attachment 2). But Oanda or Multicharts do not seem to be communicating very well on this....or I am doing something wrong which is really trivial (attachment 3). I am using the canned program for Stoplosses in Multichart. Anybody knows what the problem is or do I just have a crappy home server?

Hi TJ
I don't think it is because I am using the Targets and Stoploss canned program that comes with multicharts.

Hello Leonel,

Please update MultiCharts to the latest version (build 17002).
If you still have the issue after that is done - please send us the logs so we can check it and specify the Broker Order ID in question (Order and Position Tracker window->Orders tab).

Send us the logs via MultiCharts->Help tab->Feedback (or Windows Start menu->All programs->MultiCharts64->Feedback) for further analysis.
Select these options:
- Attach log files to help us understand what happened
- Include Backup of Logs from previous session; <- if the platform was restarted after this order was placed
- Upload collected data to Help Desk.
Uncheck the other options as we do not need them right now.

Hi Henry
I submitted the requested material via the help (feedback). It is the new Multicharts download, but it stills does the same thing it does not eliminate the stoplosses.
