Volume Multiplier for Bitfinex crypto pairs

I have tried a host of permutations with either volume multiplier 'less than zero' or volume multiplier is set too high. I can't seem to find the correct way to set the volume multiplier for bitfinex crypto pairs without getting error messages. I have used the bitfinex volume listings to set the multiplier value, for instance.

Last 24 hours (for 1 Day chart BTCUSD): BTC/USD 6,381.90 BTC, so volume multiplier 100000. I have tried other values believing it maybe set to the decimal place of BTC itself (i.e. zeros to account for the sats of BTCUSD.

I say 'perhaps' because I have the same issue but couldn't figure it out with the wiki help.
