I am trying to create a so called Trend Reversal chart which is similar to FlexRenko chart in MC. The reversal candle is created based on ticks move in opposite direction of prior candle close. In MC FlexRenko mode, the trend candle ticks move is always based on prior candle close, however, the reversal candle is based on tick move in opposite direction of prior candle open and the reversal offset much be less than the box size. That means you can only create a FlexRenko chart with the body of the reversal candle larger than the trend candle. Is there anyway to work around this? Is it possible to create a 6 tick trend candle and 3 tick reversal candle chart based on prior close? Or A 6 tick trend candle based on prior candle close and 9 tick reversal offset candle chart based on prior candle open? Something similar to picture below.
Thanks

Re: How to create a trend reversal chart based on FlexRenko chart?
owleyes,
I am not aware of a way to override the built-in bar type limitations. However, since you can create your own Custom Resolution, it should be possible to create a new bar type that follows your specifications.
