MultiCharts User Guide

Postby RobotMan » 28 May 2009

I am putting in my request for a version 5 MultiCharts User Guide.

I have the April 2008 for version 3 and I find that I use it quite a bit. It was very well written and I like being able to just click on something and the .pdf just goes to the correct page. However, since there is so much new stuff over this past year, it is not currently documented.

Thanks!!

Bob,
We are working on it. We do realize it is outdated and must be updated.

Actually it should be version 6 given it's beta now. That makes it three versions behind!

Manuals are always behind. Here is an idea for speedup. Have a rough manual that the programmers/designers create which is actually their specifications and their personal notes. This manual is openly stated as such (with no appologies for its state given nor should any be expected). It is expected to have lots of manual design flaws, grammer errors and the like but it is at least very up to date (a beta manual so to speak). Later the people who specialize in creating a great accurate manual come along and do their thing and create the final release manual (which may be behind the actual final release of the program).

MultiCharts Use Guide

Postby TomKeough » 11 Jan 2010

Andrew,
A cursory look at the table of contents shows a glaring lack of documentation on data feeds and broker connections.
Will have a closer look tonight.
Regards,
Tom
