Maximum database size of 2 Gig?

Postby jek » 03 Oct 2009

I've heard that the maximum size for the database file is 2 Gig.

Is that true?

What happens when you get to that limit?

With 64-bit systems and tons of memory, it would be great to be able to store what the disk can hold.

Just to be sure that the disk is formated with NTFS not FAT32 which have the 2 GB limitation.

Thanks DrWar and thariman.

The person corrected me and said there is a 4GB limitation because the application is compiled 32 bit.

Could someone at TSS comment on the what the limitations are?

Thanks.
