Does anyone know the symbol for Russell 2000 ? Thanks

Postby FHTrader » 03 May 2010

Hi ,

I have tried TFM0 for zen-fire datafeed using ICE as exchange. But it does not work.

Does anyone know the right symbol to use?

Many thanks.

I don't trade it anymore, but I believe it trades on Nybot.
See attached.

Hi Robotman,

Thanks for your reply and help.

I also tried that TF 06-10 and TFM0 in the ICE or NYbot but none works.

From IQ feed the symbol is @TFS# or the June contract is @TFSM10 From TS feed its @TF or TFM10

More generally, rather than guessing the symbology in a trial and error process, use Add -> Symbol -> From Datafeed in quote manager to locate the correct symbol for your data feed, if your data feed supports symbol lookup. In this way, you can be sure you have it set up more correctly.

Regarding "ice vs. nybot" it's underwritten/issued by NYBOT, and trades on ICE, so they're both the right answer in a manner of speaking. That's a common point of confusion.

Hi,

For those that might need this. I finally have the TF data now with the help from Anastassia.

It is TF FMM0010! using zen-fire and exchange is NYBOT. Make sure to include 2 spaces between TF and FMM0010!. Also, don't forget the exclamation mark.

Thanks again to Robotman, Bruce and Anastassia, who tried to help me.
