rolling from one futures contract to another - need help!

last night we rolled from EMDM0 to EMDU0. how do i have the old data append to the new data so that my systems can work on the 'continuous' stream?

If I can't do this "merge", then I have to wait X number of bars until I can being to trade again.

I'm using MC 6.0 Beta with Trading Technologies data feed.

I'm not sure if Trading Technologies has a "continuous contract". I use eSignal as a data feed and they have a continuous contract symbol "6E #F", that's the Euro currency continuous contract.
