eSignal FDax continuos future

Postby moneymaker » 20 Sep 2010

Hi,

I want to receive the continuos (AX 1!-DT) quotes from eSignal into MC, but I don't know what I must enter in the quotmanager. AX 1!-DT exchange EUREX don't work.

Thank you

Dear moneymaker,

AX 1!-DT is a custom future build by the eSignal application. It is not provided by eSignal server.

MultiCharts has the same custom futures functionality that you can use.

It would be nice to see an example, how to create a continous future trading on Eurex. In the symbol list I can not find AX for Dax or GB for German Bund. Thank You!

Dear Helmut,

I believe your question has been answered in the Live Chat. You can find instructions on how to build custom futures here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7365&hilit=+custom+futures+

Yes, the important information was, that users who are missing Eurex Futures in the "symbol root" list while adding custom futures, first of all have to add the symbol to the symbol dictionary via "Tools -> Symbol directory".
