Multicharts Bug with "non-solid" styles in histo's/barHL

Postby piranhaxp » 11 Jan 2011

I want to come back to my thoughts about a bug in MC around 1 year ago. I still have the same issue and it keeps me going crazy every day. If you insert an indicator into a chart with "plotstyles" histogram and/or barHL with non-solid styles, then my MC starts to lagging behind everything. CPU usage goes up and so on.

Last year I had the feeling that not just one, like MC support and TJ, understood what I'm talking about. Therefore I decided to record a small video and to upload it.

Here you can see the video : http://vimeo.com/18664584 .

This "bug" comes up not even with my own written indicators, it comes up on every indicator which is loaded in my MC. To prevent from any questions about my hardware setup, here are some points :

WindowsXP 64bit and Win7 64bit with a Intel i7 975, 12GB RAM and a Nvidia GT220 and Quadro FX580.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

Kind regards.

Mike

Dear Mike,

This is a known issue with histogram plot type and dotted line style. It is in our fix list and planned to be fixed in MC 7.0 release.
