Backup of settings and recorded data from Quote Manager

Postby Laurentius » 13 Jan 2011

Hello,

I am wondering if it is possible to backup all symbols lists with individual settings and recorded data in Quote Manager? Like copy files from a specific folder to another. I know about the Import Symbol List feature and preparing a .txt file, but from the looks of the tutorial .txt method for symbols is too simple for specific instrument settings.

Regarding recording of data, I am also wondering if it is possible to change the path of where this should be recorded to? Like in a .ini file or in the Windows Registry.

Thanks,
Laurentius

it is possible.
the instructions are posted in one of the threads, you can search for it.
But I won't recommend anyone doing it,
because every time MultiCharts comes out with an update,
you have to re-arrange everything again.
It will be a pain.

Thank you for your quick reply TJ.

Have tried to use the search function on the site for a couple of days now, but there has been something wrong with it. Have received an error message.

Tried again now and now it works. Great! : )

Thanks,
Laurentius
