Price Differences eSignal to TS,CQG,DTN and more

Postby piranhaxp » 25 May 2011

Hi ....

I'm experiencing price differences between eSignal alone and other feeds (like TS, CQG and DTN). Please find attached screenshot. Seems like eSignal prices are always 1 tick down adjusted. Anyone of you experienced the same problem ?

Regards.

Mike

I'll let the traders on the forum answer this question.

Piranhaxp, I think this is very interesting. I had the same experience with eSignal about eight months ago when I used it.

When you reload the eSignal chart, does it stay the same or does it become equal to the other feeds?

We have been following up with piranhaxp regarding this issue, it doesn't reproduce on our computers, but it reproduces on his. Trying to determine cause at the moment.

Hello Stan,

The reason for asking if the chart remains the same after reloading or if it becomes the same as the others, is that I had the same problem with another platform together with eSignal feed. I my case the eSignal charts looked exactly the same as shown in the picture by piranhaxp, but when reloading it became correct.

My thoughts are if the "eSignal" chart changes and becomes the same as the other feeds after piranhaxp reloading the charts, I now suspect there is something wrong with eSignal's own connection interface or feed.

Edit: "...something wrong with eSignal's own connection interface or feed." Meaning something like a compatibility issue since I would guess most people do not have this problem.

It seems to remain one tick below other feeds even after reloading, however, it's fine on our computers. We are investigating the logs and behaviour in the eSignal Data Manager.
