Hello Garp

I found what happen :

The path I used last time to import the ascii Data doesn't exist anymore, that's why it freeze !!!

As soon as I created again the folder, it was able to open without any freeze !

Please , Multichart team, would it be possible , to check if the path exist when we import ASCII data before the form appear ?

If the path don't exist we can always open C:\

Garp

I have windows7 x64, I was unable to use regAsciiConverter_MC7_0

I executed regAsciiConverter_MC7_0 in C:\Program Files (x86)\TS Support\MultiCharts or system win7x64

but I got an error message : Module "ASCIICONVERTER.dll" has been loaded, but the call to DllregisterServer failed with the error code 0x80070005

see attached file

The form ASCII import form work as long as I long delete the path it was in the previous import

In my case I've got a confirmation window that it's propely installed, so try again with help desk.
This .bat file contains only the following text

regsvr32 ASCIIConverter.dll

Possibly your register defended by windows from reg files import. But not sure.

To solve the call to “DllregisterServer failed with error code 0×80004005″ error, run a Command Prompt as Administrator. Alternatively, you can disable User Access Control too, or login with Administrator account.

Guys, you are missing the new ASCIIConverter.dll file which is supposed to fix the problem.

I have added a new attachment.

Put both regAsciiConverter_MC7_0.bat file and new ASCIIConverter.dll to MultiCharts root directory and run .bat file as Administrator.

If you get a failed import/registry error, it can be your Firewall or Antivirus which is stopping the update process. Choose them to allow the update.
