delete a symbol
when I delete a symbol from the quote manager, do I also delete all the data from the database automatically?

When a symbol is deleted in quoteManager, the data for it is deleted from the database, you're right.
By the way, if you're watching the size of the database file, you won't see it decrease after deleting a symbol, but that is not an error - later, new incoming data for other symbols will be stored to the same locatins.
