Data

Last week the program stopped saving daily data. The data source (IB) and settings have not been changed. Intraday charts are fine but I have to manually add the date and prices to daily resolution each day.

We were unable to reproduce the issue on our end. All loaded data is saved into the cache while the program is open and it's saved into the database when you close MC - has worked fine for as long as we had a database, no problems with non-saving. If you continue to have issues, please visit our Live Chat from 6:30 am until 4 pm EST.

We confirm that there is an issue of missing daily bars while using the web-based version of TWS.
This issue is coming from the Interactive Brokers side. We will contact them for clarification.
Please use the stand-alone version of the IB TWS which has the correct daily data.

Following is a re-post of an answer by Henry Multicharts in the premium forum.
Posted on September 16th, 2011:
Have just received the answer from iB.
"They (engineers) already fixed the issue. The targeted build should be 921.xxx.
At this moment, build 920.xx is already in beta version"

So I recommend to use IB TWS version 918 (for both standalone and web-based versions) until the fixed is released and tested.
