Is there any news on CQG data support?
I noticed it is possible to get a free demo of CQG from Amp Futures. It would be nice to be able to try it with MultiCharts. Several brokers may be trending towards their data.
In general even though MC users may have live accounts, it would be good for all MC users to encourage their brokers to supply demo accounts with real time data that can be used with MultiCharts. It would expand the community of users and ultimately lead to more support for the software, and better software for all. Demos are also important for learning the software and trading without real money.
(Lastly, the Confirmation codes for posting are too hard to read.)
CQG? [SOLVED]
Re: CQG?
I'm also interested in demo trading forex brokers.
Although MultiCharts DT is free to use with FXCM, it costs $90 extra to get the data unless you are a high volume trader. That's not an option.
That only leaves MB Trading in the US.
Seriously, one broker.
That's too limiting.
The number of brokerages and demos need to be expanded. Try some new ideas.
Being able to trade forex and futures from one platform should be appealing, and being able to plot them in your local time zone as we can in MC is a big plus for me.

Thanks for the ideas James. We will try to expand the list of brokers, possibly add CQG in the future.
