date/time pointer

Postby stoker » 25 Oct 2011

Good evening all,

I have 3 charts with different timeframes open in a workspace. I would like to be able to highlight a particular time period during the day for analysis with some sort of time pointer/marker.

Is this possible?

thanks,

Stoker

Do you mean a crosshair?

Hi TJ,

Thanks for you reply.

Actually no. I am looking for a way to highlight a point in time simultaneously on each of my 3 charts in different timeframes. So if there is a way to make the crosshair appear in each of my 3 charts in my workspace that would do fine.

many thanks in advance.

Regards,

Matt

Hi TJ,

Thanks for your reply.

Showing the crosshair only displays it in one chart at one time. I am looking for all charts at same time at the same point in time.

For example, I want to be able to to highlight say 11:37AM on my 5 minute, 15 minute and 45 minute chart at the same time.

I have seen that this is possible with other platforms.

If the charts are of the same time zone, the cross hair will synchronize in all charts.

Hi TJ,

Thanks for your reply. The crosshair only appears in one chart at one time. So if I highlight 10:15 AM on chart A, its not highlighted on chart B because the cross hair only appears in chart A. I want it (or someother solution) to appear in chart A, B and C simultaneously.

hope thats clear.

Stoker
