Hi,
is there any way to store symbols in some sort of watchlist and be able to step through them without having to manually select the next symbol you want to look at?
Seems clunking and thinking there must be a better way.
thanks,
Stoker

Re: Step through charts
Hello Sir.
You can add a set of symbols into Real Time Market scanner for watching the market activity
(File->New->Real-time market scanner window).
You can also add indicators to this window.

Re: Step through charts
Hi Henry,
Thanks for the response. I am not sure I am following though. I have created a new real time market scanner and entered some symbols, no problem.
I am not sure how I can get from here to a chart, other than right click > create chart window. I am not sure this helps.
I was looking for a way to be to easily step through a bunch of charts that I use in my nightly analysis without having to manualy key them in or go through several clicks to select the symbol I want.
Can this be done with the real time market scanner?
Thanks,
Stoker

Re: Step through charts
Unfortunately there is no such feature.
Using the Real time market scanner you cannot open the charts automatically.
As a possible solution I can suggest:
You can manually right click on the symbol in scanner -> create chart window.
You can use the command line of MultiCharts to change the symbol name on the chart quickly.
If you are interested in a new feature - please submit a feature request to the Project Management of our web site so other users can vote for it: https://www.multicharts.com/pm/

Re: Step through charts
Just link the scanner to the chart and then 1 click on the symbol is enought. Hope this helps.
