Emini-Watch X-trend indicator working?

Postby j-ventura » 24 Jan 2012

Has anyone been able to get emini-watch (Barry's) new X-Trend indicator work in Multicharts? I downloaded it, imported and compiled it. I don't see where to input the password and there are no Inputs or Style settings available and nothing displays on the charts.

I don't want to send him an email for a free indicator after he had fit about all the emails regarding it.

Thanks
James

Hi j-ventura,

the eld-file is not working with MC.It seems to work only with the newest TS and there are some changes which are not compatible to Powerlanguage.

We have to wait until Barry makes this indicator for Multicharts.

Is the actual EasyLanguage code available somewhere? I can't imagine that the changes he implemented are so difficult that they can't be re-written to work in MultiCharts. Do you have a link to the .eld file?

Hi furytrader,

the indicator is a read-only version.
There is no open-source-code.

I just read that Barry is still working on some bugs in the TS version of Better X-Trend.
I think if it works right on TS he will release a MC-version too, because thats not so difficult than writing the indicator in NT-code.
