Data

Postby clint454 » 18 Nov 2022

With my IQFeed subscription, I can load 6 months of NQ data on another platform but can only seem to load 4 months of 3 min data on a chart in MC, and only 2 months of daily and monthly data. I am attempting after normal market session hours and I am using @NQ#C for continuous. Any suggestions?

For some reason, @NQ# was able to load 6 months of minute data but @NQ#C was only able to load 4 months of data. Is @NQ# the correct symbol for the continuous contract?

Hello clint454,

Both symbols are continuous contracts.
Please attach a screenshot of your @NQ#C chart and of the Format -> Instrument -> Settings tab.

clint454,

Please make sure the ‘Build minute and daily bars based on tick data’ box is unchecked in the IQFeed settings in QuoteManager -> Tools -> Data Sources.
Restart MultiCharts and all its apps after adjusting it.
IQFeed provides less tick data compared to minute or daily data, so using that option when minute and daily data is needed will result in less bars on chart.
