RSI function wrong?

Postby Altean » 06 Nov 2013

Multicharts.NET RSI(7) is equivalent to RSI(14) in other software like SC. Something wrong with code?

Altean,

Are you using exactly the same data in both applications?
Is the RSI calculation logic the same?
What is the version and build number of MultiCharts .Net you are running?
Please attach full sized screenshots of both applications.

Hello,
I used same data source in IB platform (TWS), Multicharts.NET 8.7 and latest SC. Apparently the problem is with SC. RSI (14) looks same in Multichart and TWS. In SC it is too fast moving for such long period.
Sorry for my mistake. TWS showed who is doing correct RSI :)
