v9.0 Dynamic currency conversion @ SGX futures

Postby eunos64 » 04 Nov 2014

Oops, hillbert has already mentioned about this in following 1).
http://www.multicharts.com/discussion/v ... =1&t=47301
3 little bugs/oversights: Open any strategy property window.
1) When base currency is changed, ccy symbol changes in front of Initial Capital, but doesn't change in front of Slippage.
2) When Manage rule is clicked, again ccy symbol doesn't change.
2) AUD, NZD and USD have same symbol $. Symbols should be different to avoid causing confusion.
I'm trading these products at SGX Singapore exchange ...
SGXNK(IB ticker): SGX Nikkei 225 Index futures. Currency is JPY Japanese Yen.
NIFTY(IB ticker): SGX CNX Nifty Index futures. Currency is USD.
http://www.sgx.com/

MC 9.0 assigns Base currency as SGD Singapore dollar because the exchange is Singapore.
And I have studied I can change Base currency selecting from drop-down lists.
But I cannot change a currency of slippage, so I have to calculate that my slippage Yen is XX Singapore dollar, my slippage USD equal to XXX Singapore dollar....each other manually.....
In recent volatile market, I have to calculate and change these values everyday.......

I think this is a strange manner, and want MC team to improve this issue.

I have found the solution.

In v9.0 release4, there is an option to set Base currency "None".
Selecting "None" simply solve the issue.

I don't have confidence whether I didn't notice "None" or already exist that option in former version.

Anyway, the issue has been cleared, and updated finally.

Thanks,
