Keeping Strategy/Bracket Order Settings Fixed to Workspace?

Postby datamonkey » 14 Apr 2015

I use the "Auto Attach as Exit Strategy" setting on Bracket Orders which I manually select once I've loaded my workspace, however when I close MC and reboot it the next day the software does not remember my selection and I have to do it again. My question was wondering if there is a way for this to be remembered so that the bracket orders are automatically set up each time I load Multicharts up?

Is there a way for it to be saved to a workspace?

Hello datamonkey,

Exit strategies settings are global and applied to all charts. They are not saved in the workspace file. That is possible to save up to four templates with specific settings for each exit strategy. Here is how to do that.

I second this request. Auto-attach should be associated with a DOM window or linked chart so you don't have to select it individually for every instrument in your watchlist at the start of every session.

Thanks

I agree, it should.

The current implementation is just prone to making a costly mistake.
