Custom futures does not support Root name with _ character

Postby wzero » 22 May 2017

I added a new root "NI225_M" for eSignal NIKKEI 225 INDEX (MINI) futures, but in "Add Custom Futures" dialog the "NI225_M" root is not included in the "Symbol root" dropdown list. "NI225" root is ok, only "NI225_M" has the issue. I use Multicharts.Net 10 R6.

Hello wzero,

"_" is not supported in the Custom Futures name:
The root name should not contain following symbols <;> <:> <=> <!> <_>. Custom Futures cannot be created for such symbols.

Ok, I made a workaround by changing all individual contracts root from NI225_M to NI225M. It can construct custom futures successfully.
