Python.NET

Postby mobelby » 06 Aug 2017

Hi,

I read an old post on the forum about how to code in iron python and get it to work in Multicharts.
Henry gave a very good answer.

Now that iron python is pretty much outdated and python.NET has taken over as the main instance of python for use in the .NET world, can I ask the question about how I could code in Python.NET and have it be usable inside Multicharts.NET

Whilst I appreciate C# is a good language I'd really like to use Python for all my coding whether inside Multicharts or other backtesting apps/sites.

Thanks

Hello, modelby!

You can create an external DLL in the language you like and connect this DLL via the script in MultiCharts.
Down this link you can find how to do that in MultiCharts .NET:
