A PETITION to TSSupport from traders: FIX BROKEN CANDLES

Postby terminal7 » 21 Apr 2007

You may not fully understand how it is that TSSupport's current custom of closing some candles at the daily session break is inflating, bloating, and distorting your view of the market in the sub-daily domain of resolutions in time-based charts (or in all domains in price and change-based charts)...

...nor may you fully understand the trader proposed solution to broken candles which involves raising the session ceiling from 24 hours (daily) to 168 hours (weekly) in time-based charts and totally eliminating session breaking in price and change-based charts...

...however, please take just a moment to view the following graphic and sign this petition to let TSSupport know that you as a trader are concerned about this issue and demand to see a clear and uncorrupted picture of the market when you view an MCFX chart.

You DO NOT HAVE TO COMMENT ON THE ISSUE. Simply type your forum nickname or real name into a post and hit SUBMIT. That's all you have to do to let your charting provider know that AN ACCURATE DISPLAY OF DATA IS JUST AS IMPORTANT to you AS ACCURATE DATA ITSELF.

If we get enough "signatures" perhaps TSSupport will realize that traders are now more informed, aware of, and concerned about the integrity of MCFX charts and that they ARE ENTITLED TO AN ACCURATE, UNDISTORTED PICTURE OF PRICE BEHAVIOR when viewing charts. This is a fundamental RIGHT OF TRADERS, not a feature or add-on, or privalege.

Each of you are paying good money every month to see the FX market - DEMAND THAT YOUR VISION BE 20/20!

It goes without saying that I think this issue is of vital importance. I urge TSSupport to make the necessary changes to MCFX to fix the problem of broken candles with the least possible delay.
