MCFX New server seems to be down.
Impossible to connect at 09:00 GMT.

It was out all night. There was a brief resumption of service this morning at 0730 GMT, and now it's out again.

This is really beyond a joke.

After contacting the support : They tried to upgrade the server this WE for improvment, but they had to rollback the new release because of a malfunction.

Ok, it's beta server, so we know this can occurs but now there is missing datas on several pairs (eurusd show no datas between 11/01 @ 01:00 CET and Today 11:00 CET, USDJPY and GBPJPY today's 13:00 CET bar is missing), etc ...

Question to TS : when do you plan to fill the missing datas ? For all customers, MCFX will be unusable for testing or autotrading this week until this is not fix (all indicators are wrong).

There are still a lot of glitches in today's hourly data in many pairs.

USD/CAD has similar glitches (gappy data) for the period 12 November 2007 to 21 December 2007.

I'm not receiving any data fom the new server at time of writing, 0600GMT. There are a few pips in some currencies at around 0000GMT, otherwise nothing.

I've reinstalled the prior version of MCFX, and data seems okay on port 8000.

Dear MKlein,

The new MCFX version is not without its flaws. The problem is not on the server side, but on the MCFX client side - occasioanally it might look like the data is not coming. The server, however, has been working without any interruptions.

Our programmers are polishing up MCFX client and the newer version will be soon released.

There's no tick data available on port 10000 for a period of 18 hours on January 22nd in a number of currency pairs (GBP/USD, USD/CAD, AUD/USD, for example, but not EUR/USD).

This corresponds to the time I posted the above message, and the corrupt 250-tick chart Thomas Becker noticed in the thread "missing data, false chart".

If this is a client problem, I don't understand why this data remains unavailable.

If this is a problem with the data you're receiving from FXCM, I don't understand why the FXCM tick data is intact for January 22nd on port 8000 of your old server.
