Strategy Performance Report

Postby beck donald » 31 Jan 2008

The window is not linked to charts once opened. If opened on chart 1 you get that information, if you click on chart 2, the results remain that of chart 1. To get the data for chart 2, you need to close the SPR and reopen it.

And.....because the chart needs to be set to either 10,000 or 100,000 for the trade to be handled properly at FXCM, the report is not correct. It is being multiplied by 10,000 or 100,000.

And...even with the position size set to 1, because of fractional pips, the pip or fractional pip value is wrong.

Thanks

Hi Don,

Strategy performance report is not made to have its value recalculated once you activate a chart differnt from the one the report was created for. To have a report for the second chart, you need to create it. We assumed this would be more convenient - in case you want to have several reports open at the same time - each for its respective chart.

You are right about the issue with multiplying the results in Strategy Performance report by 10,000 or by 100,000. We are working to fix it.
