Reduced Display Intervals

Hello;
I've seen that the lower the time frame I choose to display on a chart, the shorter the display interval would be. For example, if I choose to display EUR/USD on a daily basis, the maximum interval that MCFX would display is from 2001.
If I choose to display the same pair on the 15 minutes time frame, the best MCFX would display is from approximately August 27th. This always happens no matter the number of bars or days I choose to display, as well as the start point of the interval.

This is important since, at least for me, it's really necessary to backtest at least 10 years on a 15 minute time frame and 20 years in a daily time frame to improve strategy robustness.

Dear Gean Piero,

We have temporarily introduced on the amount of data that can be received from the server. This has been done to ensure the server's reliability and prevent outages. In future these limitations will be lifted.

At the moment the available amount of data is:

tick - 1 week
minute - about 200 days
day - about 7 years

when are TS planning to fix the limitation, because to test trading systems i need more data and i think i can speak for everyone who want to test trading systems.

Hi Marina,

One month and half later I can't backfill more than a few months of minutes data (15 min, 5 min, ...). No data before 04/11/2007 are available in 15 min for example.

In 1 Hour I can backfill datas since 2001.

I need these 15 min datas for backtesting.

I am afraid we're still not prepared to lift the limitation on the amount of historical data available. According the the current schedule, this will be done in 1.5 - 2 months.
