How can I update to a new version of MC without losing all configurations and market data.
I installed the new Version and found everything blank afterwards. No scripts in the PLE, no data.
regards
Ulrich

Hello Ulrich,
Updating MultiCharts does not erase your user data. Most likely you have installed a version of MultiCharts different from the one you had (32 bit <-> 64 bit).
MultiCharts 32 bit and MultiCharts 64 bit are two separate applications, each using it's own isolated application/database/study folders.
Both applications can be installed on the same PC. There will be no conflict. You can use your license in both programs, but not at the same time.
Please go to Start->All programs to run the version of MultiCharts you were previously running. Go to Help tab->About MultiCharts. If it says MultiCharts then your MultiCharts is 32 bit.
If it says MultiCharts then your MultiCharts is 32 bit.
Please download the respective version from our download page and install it.
