NQZ4 DOM discrepancy

Postby wzero » 22 Oct 2014

There is a discrepancy in DOM between MC.net 9 and IB TWS for the same NQZ4 contract (see the attached screenshot). The discrepancy persists but only for NQZ4, other contracts like ES, YM have no problem.

Hello wzero,

What exact version and build number of MultiCharts are you running? (in MultiCharts go to Help tab-> About)
What is the version of TWS and Java you are running ? (TWS Help tab->About)
Is this behavior replicated on a Real or a Sim login?
Does it happen on a constant basis / How often is it replicated?
What are the steps for replicating this behavior?

It would be worth to mention that similar issues were resolved before and were specific to user accounts.

Maybe it's IB problem. Now NQZ4 DOM in TWS side looks bad (with gaps) too.

Well, this may not an IB issue because I see the problem on ESZ4 as well now. More precisely, the gap only happened in MC DOM while the price has just moved up/down.

Multicharts.Net64 ver 9.0, build 10016.
TWS build 946.2q, java 1.7.0_67, OS Windowws 8.1

I'm not sure if this issue is related. The NQ, ES, SI, GC date time are displays in watch list is as exchange time, all others are local time. Weird to me.

Are you able to replicate it on a Sim login?

Each instrument in the scanner window has it's own Time Zone selector. Please right click on the instrument->Format instrument->Settings->Time zone.

I tried the IB paper trading account with live data feed, the DOM is correct for NQZ4.
The local/exchange date/time problem is fixed according to the setting you mentioned, thanks.
