How do I create a volume bar chart?

Postby ybfjax » 23 Mar 2007

How do I create a volume bar chart. I notice the charts are setup for minutes. How do I start fresh with a volume-based chart?

INSERT / SYMBOL / SETTINGS / compression = contracts

Yes. I see that you have to first create a chart, and then switch it over. luckily for me, it creates the subsequent charts defaulted to the volume bar chart.

There should be a way to create the volume bar chart from the get go. Oh well.

you create a volume bar chart the same way you create a minute chart.

you create a volume bar chart from the very beginning, as soon as you specified a symbol, you go to specify whether it is a minute chart or a volume bar chart.

there is no need to re-define the chart attribute.

The option wasn't there for me. I had to create the chart first. Then press the volume bar icon on the toolbar. Then the "contract" compression, as well as several others I didn't know about, appear.
