switching from multicharts standard to .net

Postby jimm88 » 28 Feb 2015

I open my power language .net editor,. and there is no "import read only files" tab there is Import/export only where as my standard multicharts 64 version has both import/export and import read only / export read only / because of this I am having issues importing a set of indicators "SEF" files I get "error occurred during import " > study : (function) > error code:1

any help would be appreciated

Hello jimm88,

In MultiCharts and MultiCharts .NET different programming languages are used:

In regular MultiCharts a study is created using EasyLanguage/PowerLanguage.
In MultiCharts .NET a study is created using C# or VisualBasic.Net.

Studies from regular MultiCharts cannot be used in MultiCharts .NET (or MultiCharts .NET for TWS) and vice versa.
