I was trying to run portfolio backtesting using Portfolio Trader. The problem was that trades list was empty, even I was using only one instrument - the same I tested the signal in MC.
Further investigation indicated that in Portfolio Performance Report Settings the Start Date is displayed as 00:00:00 (when I load other built-in signal the Start Date format is correct - MM/dd/yyyy HH:mm:ss) no matter which option I use to set dates (From: To: or Days Back From).

If the trades list is empty then there were no orders generated by your strategy. Please validate the order generation conditions in your signals.
Start Date as 00:00:00 has nothing to do with this situation. This value will be changed to N/A when no trades are generated in MultiCharts 9.1 beta 1.

Hello,
I have found the cause the strategy in Portfolio Trader did not generated orders. It relied on Intrabar Order Generation switch set to ON and since IOG is not supported in PT, there was no trades at all.
