11.2 connecting to Oanda V20 account

Sometimes when starting up it won't connect, says connecting and in the quote manager it gives the errors shown in attachment. The only way I have found to fix is close it down and try again. Sometimes takes multiple tries to finally get connected. Please see attached screenshot from the quote manager.

Hello gpw797,

After you close MultiCharts - make sure that no processes with “MultiCharts” in Description remain in Task Manager -> Processes -> Details tab.
Only after that is done you can start MultiCharts and try to connect.

I have the same issue with Oanda V20. Constant disconnects with remote server returned an error 400. Quote manager runs for a minute or so and then the error appears. It then runs again and within a minute I get the same error. I have a ticket with Oanda open but so far no joy. Extremely frustrating.

To fix the 400 errors you need to shut off MC, go to task manager and kill all MC processes and start MC again. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. This API has been out for over a year it's too bad it still isn't working with MC well. I hate to do it but will probably change back to the V1 API. V20 just doesn't work well enough to trust with real money ... :(

I have reverted to the previous version of the API which is working as expected. I'll try the V20 in 6-12 months to see if it has improved.
