Postby Mark Brown » 13 May 2019

real time data not working also. i am getting realtime quotes but the charting will not update. @es will update real time but @rty will not update at all.

yes i have the same chart running in ts - it's just @rty and rty.d will not update - yes i have deleted the symbol, reinstalled the software - rolled back the software, flushed everything down the toilet including the data, pulled my hair out, cursed, stood on my head, kicked the dog, burned my house down all that stuff! mc has gone to crap and you can't use it at all what has happened to this program?

I'm getting this problem too in Version 12 Release 18037. The real time data is feed by a DDE server.

By the way, the previous Version 12 Release 17585 worked well.

The following reasons for this behavior were identified during the Live Chat session:
1. Using incorrect symbol sessions;
2. Using delayed data.
When you have delayed data - your charts should start updating after the delay time is exceeded.
For example if it is 15 minutes, then the chart will start updating in 15 minutes after you plot it.
Changing any of the instrument parameters on the chart will reset the counter.
