G++ Exe errors, again and again

Postby Salzburg » 19 Jun 2019

Hi,

I got the G++ EXE issue, a few weeks ago, i then researched and found issue in the forum, i then uninstalled and then installed again, and that solved the problem, lots of headache though having to do this. To my large suprise it then happened again, AGAIN... two weeks after the first issue...

I know really really do NOT want to make a new unistall and reinstall, this seems to be a issue that needs to be fixed.

Is there anyway i can sort this out without having to reinstall again, and shall i expect having to unistall and reinstall going ahead?

I hope its possible to sort this out without redoing everything again.

Using latest update 181184
Thanks for help

I will but a popup saying If i want G++EXE allowed to be run, after i do this, Power language editor compiles error, line 0 etc

I assume its a common error and not just on my pc.

I had it a few weeks ago and reinstalled .. then it went away
and now its back

Salzburg,

To be able to advise anything we need to see the exact message about G++EXE that you receive. Either post it here or come to demonstrate it by remote connection to our Live Chat once it is reproduced.

Salzburg,

As agreed in Live Chat we'll be expecting you back for remote demonstration of this issue should it ever be reproduced again.

Just for the record, I've had exactly this issue too. Although in my case I re-installed and mine has been fine since. I'd guess this was maybe 5-6 weeks ago. I assumed it was a Windows Update that broke it as I'd done nothing else on the PC.
In my case I did an uninstall THEN an install (rather than just reinstall straight over the top).
As I say, it hasn't re-occured since but wanted to report in light of this thread.
