For some of my own specific reasons, from an original symbol SymOrig, I would like to duplicate a new symbol called SymDupl which has all the same settings and data with the original SymOrig.
Currently, I can easily create a new symbol SymDupl from QM, but then I have to set all the settings and more critically export all the data from the SymOrig and import them into the SymDupl. I just want it to be done automatically by QM. I wish there would be a button called "Duplicate Symbol" for that purpose.
Or the better way would be to allow an alias name to be created. For example, if I can define SymDupl as an alias of SymOrig, then all the settings and data for SymDupl would be retrieved from SymOrig. So, plotting two charts for SymOrig and SymDupl will always share the same settings and data. Maybe settings could be different between SymOrig and SymDupl.
I prefer the aliasing concept.

Is there any simple way of replicating a symbol from QM?

Please add the symbol aliasing in the next release
Marina,
Thanks for considering aliasing concept.
Can you add it to the next release?
As a matter of fact I need that feature right now.
