"no data" when trying to open a stock chart

Postby flier6 » 01 Sep 2007

I'm able to open futures charts but when I try to open charts for IBM, it says "establishing connection" and then "no data."
I'm able to add the symbol to the quote manager and connect it and the event log looks like it's downloading data but I always get "no data."

Thanks

1. check your data feed. make sure it is online.
2. make sure you are subscribed to the exchange.
3. make sure the length of the data is available.
e.g. some data feed only provide 5 yrs of history, if you request 10 yrs, then you might not get a response.

TJ,
Thanks for the reply. I've done all of those things but still not getting anything. Like I said before, the event log indicates that data is downloading but the price bars never appear.
