Another case of CPU 100% from MCActiveX.exe

Postby 2haerim » 07 Sep 2007

I opened MC(928.1050) and applied a simple signal to 5 min symbol from 2005/01/01 to today.

Now, it is using up CPU 100% endlessly. I tried the same on 976.1109. But the same signal gave me this time a runtime error.

So, I am installing MC on a different PC and will test to see what happens.
=> Now, it gave me runtime error again. So new beta seems to have problems.

If you contact me now, I can show it via HD.

I found my CPU time is running close to 100% as well.
The biggest user is the MCACTI~1.EXE.

I have experimented with different indicators, the run rate is still very high. Even with just 1 wsp, 1 chart, 1 symbol, and 1 indicator, the CPU goes to 40% sometimes.

The problem was caused by the datafeed being used incorrectly.

Hi TJ,

The problem described by Haerim was caused by his mistake in using the datafeed.

The situation when you have high CPU load with 1wsp, 1 chart, 1 symbol, and 1 indicator is not normal. Some other factors you might be not aware of are probably interfering.

You could contact us through LiveChat and we will try to find out what has been going on.
