Equidistant Channel

Postby iso » 11 Dec 2007

Is it possible to allow the direction of the Equidistant Channel to plot "Up" and "Down" at the same time? That would be a great feature.

Thanks

Hi iso,

You would simply need to use two Equidistant Channels - if I understand the request correctly.

Best regards.

That wouldn't work. You would need the tool to project channels above and below the centerline. Is it possible to add that as a feature request?

Thanks

Hi iso,

Could you post a picture showing how the drawing would look like? To make sure that we understand what the requested feature should look like.

Thank you.

Notice also that the tool plots behind price so you can still see the bars.....

Hi iso,

So according to the screenshot, you just want additional lines above and below the main lines? Not the lines going in a different direction? Is that correct?

Correct. The tool is based off of one line. Currently MC only offers the equidistant lines to be plot "Up" or "Down" from the main line (centerline).

I would like to plot "Up" and "Down" at once.

Thanks

That would be great.

Also what would be a very useful enhancement for me is for 'rays' (lines extended to the right) is to have an option of a multiplier.

If you tick the box you get an infinite extension but it would nice to be able to put 2 5 20 whatever and have the length multiplied by that.

Reason being, you often want lines and channels projected into the future but eventually they become stale. This would make it much easer to keep charts tidy but still project into the immediate future.

Thanks,
