Opentick Feed Issue

Postby Thomas Mann » 24 Dec 2007

Hi,
I am still having issues with opentick and MC. It seems Opentick's supplier of data likes to spike the OHLC at the close of the session which screws up charts and indicators. I Went into the quote manager and deleted the bogus ticks but my chart still shows the spike bar. How do I tell the chart to load data again from the quote manager after I have deleted the bogus entries ?
Thanks

Hi Thomas Mann,

Tick resolutions (tick bars, contract bars, point bars, point (original bars), change bars) are saved in cache - to speed up charting for the resolutions that have already been plotted. Deleting data from the Database (through Edit Data in QuoteManager) does not delete it from cache. Therefore, to avoid plotting the values that have been deleted from the database, cache must be cleared as well.

Best regards.
