MC 2.1 RELEASE OUTPERFORMS COMPETITOR'S PLATFORMS

Postby Marina Pashkova » 14 Sep 2007

Dear customers,

We have conducted tests comparing MultiCharts, AB, TS, and NeoTicker. The results have been summarized in the attached pdf document.

In future, we are going to run additional tests comparing MC to MT and Wealth-Lab

What did you use to benchmark? You do not say how you actually benchmarked each charting package.

Also, did you try a different machine? Like a single-core Pentium 4? You should try about 3 different machines to see how each one stacks up.

Could you please specify the question?

We only ran tests on a single machine. Generally these tests don't need to be run on several different computers (unless the influence of different configurations is under study).

The purpose of the test was to compare the applications' performance on a dual-core machine. We will soon release the version which will work on quad-cores and 8 cores and run new tests for those.

But how did you actually MEASURE the speed of each application? What tools did you use?

To measure the time the computer clock was used.
