I have some eSignal symbols which I can access alright in other applications but MC fails to get any tick data for. It just says "No data".
An example symbol is "EUR@TDFX A0-FX" which is the EUR/USD cash price from EFX (TDFX).
I added a TDFX exchange in QuoteManager. Even in QM though you can't see any tick data. I also noticed that QM insists the symbol is a future. I don't know if it's that aspect which is causing the problem?
In the eSignal data manager symbol monitor you can see all the bid/ask prices coming in alright. And as I said, I can also access the tick data in other applications ok.
The other symbols I have problems with are also marked as futures in QuoteManager.
Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,
Try the following:
In QuoteManager, go to Tools -> Exchanges and ECN's and create a new exchange - TDFX.
Then go to Symbol -> Add Symbol -> Manually.
In the Data Source field choose eSignal.
In the symbol name area type in EUR@TDFX A0-FX
Choose Forex in the Category drop-down list
Choose TDFX for the exchange.
Click OK.
In the Edit Symbol window -> Forex, enter Root and Description. In the Settings tab, tick Custom Settings and choose 1/100000 for the Price Scale.
Let me know if you need any further assistance.
Regards.
