Strategy Optimization Report 3D(X/Y/Z) versus 2D(X/Y)

Postby LRP » 15 May 2008

Hello TS-Suport

For cross testing with just 1 optimization parameter, a simple 2D Report would be very nice.
Is there a way to get such a X/Y- curve without a detour like export and import to e.g. excel :?:
Thank you
LRP

Hi LRP,

There is a workaround to do the job.
Add an 'artificial' parameter to your strategy and optimize it as well. The resulting graph will still be 3-dimensional, but you'll be able to disregard the axis with the values of this parameter.

Regards.

Dear Marina
Thank you for your quick answer. Did you already plan to implement something like an auto-recognition of 1 or 2 parameter for 2 or 3 dimensional graphs?
What do you think abot such a feature? It would be very usefull because for cross testing it is often enough to check (optimize) 1 parameter-range.
Cordially

Hi LRPk

We are going to consider your suggestion for future implementation.

Follow up of this topic: May I ask TS-Support kindly for NEWS about the implementation of this feature?
Thank you

LRP,
Our current focus is to polish MultiCharts existing features. So we will return to this subject but later. We understand that 2D chart is important in some optimization scenarios.
Thank you

Just 2D-Graph for 2 optimization parameters. Please implement it for MC 7.
Thank you very much.
