Queing multiple sets of optimization possible?

Postby 2haerim » 19 Jul 2008

One user wanted to run multiple sets of optimization by queing them somehow. So when one set of optimization is completed, the next one automatically starts, and so on.

For example, he wanted to backtest 10 years of data, but split them and optimize by 1 year unit.

In TS2ki, it is possible to run multiple optimization by opening multiple workspaces and run optimization for all those workspaces. Then TS2ki will queue each optimization task sequentially.

Hi HaeRim,

In MC, you can't have optimizations queued. What you can do, though, is open several instances of the program and run optimizations in those several instances at the same time.

Regards.
